If the $50 price has been holding you back, GOG has Witcher 2 for $30 this weekend. Not sure of the exact dates, that's all the email said and it doesn't specify on the website. But it is on sale right now. I haven't had time to play it for a couple of months now, but it's visually stunning and is a great game. Of course, they always have the Enhanced Version of Witcher 1 for $10.

She downloaded a Witcher 1 demo yesterday - we'll see how she fares with it! She like a good story, and boy,oh, boy, does this one have a story!
