Most of the puzzles are fair, but there was one where I had to get a hint. Turns out I had to multiply some numbers to get the solution, and I had only been adding. The multiplying still does not make sense to me. Don’t be scared by the maths, no calculator needed
You progress through four levels of increasing difficulty. Each level has a handful of locations and a handful of puzzles. There are a few characters to interact with on a minimal basis, and you will have inventory items from time to time.
I would rate this 4.25/5. The puzzles are very well integrated into the game. There is a very thin plot. I liked the art style. I had fun playing it. I got to have a hamster for a little while.
Edit: I forgot to say it’s free to play, ad-supported. You can pay $1.99 to remove the ads via in-app purchase. There is another option to basically donate $3.99 to the developers, and there are options to watch several ads rather than paying for either of these things. I tried watching the required number of ads one after another, but it quit serving me ads before I reached the minimum. So I just played the rest for free. The ads are easy to tolerate and worth it for a quality game.
