Just finished playing this Adventure game on my iPad. I didn’t warm to this game, sometimes a game or a book or a film clicks with you, sometimes it doesn’t.
Setting was good, a Norse mythology background which felt correct. It is an Adventure game, small inventory, some boxes to open with various locks, no timed or sound puzzles. The game has a good hint system.
At times I felt I was randomly clicking to find hotspots, there didn’t always seem to be a logic to what one had to do, one or two puzzles I solved by brute force and ignorance. Quite a bit of moving around was required. I have to admit I just wanted to get through the game rather than relish it, so there’s probably things I missed.
The Frostrune
Re: The Frostrune
I always look for games about Norse mythology, but it sounds like I can pass on this one!
Just finished a replay of Through the Woods which is a Norwegian mythology game. I really like it, but definitely NOT for a mobile device!

Re: The Frostrune
I hesitate to say I didn’t like games - the games I really like I’ve seen reviews of which would have stopped me trying the game if I had read them first.
Safest to say is perhaps YMMV your mileage may vary.

Re: The Frostrune
I quite liked The Frostrune (played it on my Android phone) but I agree it didn't really flow. Felt quite old-fashioned, but only partly in a good way.
Re: The Frostrune
I played it a while ago and barely remember it. That probably sums it up.
