Get aCC_e55 (2019)

Post by Jen »

Developer: UnderAIR
I played on iPad.
This is a traditional point-n-click game. Your goal is to get your car running by collecting parts and putting them together and into the car. There are maybe 12-15 locations in an isometric perspective, which means you have to turn each location to see all four sides. It has mostly inventory puzzles, some environmental puzzles, and one arcade game (that you don’t have to play to complete the game).
The game is pretty well designed but I didn’t like it very much. Some of the clues were too obscure. Some of the item locations weren’t available until after a particular inventory item was found, which meant checking and rechecking things. The art style is not to my taste. I’d rate it 3 out of 5. It was dead average. Some fun parts, some not fun parts. It did have a couple of pretty clever puzzles but most weren’t anything I hadn’t seen before. There is a built-in hint system, which was appreciated but not always very helpful.

Thanks Jen but I’ll probably pass on this one.

I played this, and totally agree with your review. I find there are more isometric perspective games on offer lately-- Nox and The Almost Gone come to mind.
