Motherboard just up and quit on me back in early October. On the bright side, I now have Windows 7.

Spent a week in Asheville, North Carolina, where my oldest daughter got married. Soon as I can figure out how to post pictures with this new computer, I'll post a picture of the bride with her adorable twin flower girls.

Phone companies are being bought and sold in my area and the new company has to switch you to their new & improved equipment. Living in the country made the so called smooth transition, not so smooth! I could get connected to the internet, but could not receive or send e-mail to anyone, or login to the Manor or Adventure Point to reach you Drac. I finally managed to get ahold of Rozanne, who patched me through to Ghostlady, who blessedly got me reconnected to the Manor.

Now that I have been shoved and pushed and tweaked into my new communication services, everything is looking good. :queen:

Thank goodness you are back with us, Stella - I was really really getting so worried about you - I put out an APB all over the internet, even to the old GameNuts people, to find out if somebody could track you down.

So glad it was just a computer issue, which can always be rectified, as opposed to health issues! x x x

Now playing Bluebeard's Castle - Not sure if this is a new game or an old game - It's not a block buster by any means, but even so I am enjoying it.

I dont like that you have to be patient when changing from once scene to another - It takes so much time downloading to the next part of the Castle - and patience is not one of my strong points lately!

Coincidence RB - that is what I am just about to start. Just finished Book of Unwritten Tales and it was so fantastic. Guess anything I play after that will be a comedown.
Nice to see you back Stella!

Do yourself a favour RB - buy the Book! It was so special that it is one of the few games I intend to play again sometime. Everything about it brought a smile - the characters, the graphics, the plot, the humour. Everything was a delight. :) <oop - sorry about the English spelling of humor and favor - RosaB will understand!>
Talking about that. Do you realise (realize?) how slightly annoying it is to have your English spelling thrown back at you as a mistake with almost every word you type? We eventually just give up. I do anyway! :) You get it though, all you US spelling folk? Hope so. No offense meant - hope none taken.
