Very strange!! Am sure you have upped the voice settings, RB? A pity because the voice acting is really pivotal to the whole ambiance.

I agree... For this game anyway, I'd definitely be plugging the speakers into the motherboard sound card.

Another thought too is that it might not be the sound card at all, but rather your speakers, RB. Plugging them into the motherboard sound card might help with your troubleshooting. WHEN you can get to it - I know you are madly busy with other issues right now.

Ooh now I want to try Cadenza! And RB, yes I did enjoy Raincliff Phantoms. But it was much the same as the other games in the series - but I don't mind.

I've been playing Cadenza, too. The variety of hidden object puzzles is a nice change, and I especially like putting together the slide stories. The jazz sound track is a good one.
I’m more confused than a chameleon in a bagful of Skittles.

I also really enjoyed this one. I played it twice to get all the notes and other goodies. Nice change for a casual game...

Just finished Witch's Pranks. Delightful - brought out the kid in me! Few ordinary HO's, wonderful graphics and humour. The premium edition has a nice long bonus chapter and all in all a thoroughly enjoyable game. Easy, relaxing, and quite a good length. No map but it is not needed. Want a chuckle? Then play this one. Great fun.
