Umbrella Academy
As a SF nerd who loves time-travel fiction, I loved it. I also love black humor. But in season 2 I kept telling myself that I have read King’s 11/22/63 and knew the downsides to saving Kennedy.
Ford had formed a theory to account for this strange behavior... if human beings don't keep on exercising their lips, he thought, their brains start working.

The Umbrella Academy is very fun to watch, but I liked season 1 better. It seems like they were trying too hard in season 2. Maybe COVID got in the way, but some of it seemed forced and some like filler. Which is not to say it wasn’t super entertaining, and it’s especially great to get top-tier new fantasy shows nowadays when they’re thin on the ground.
