The Forgotten City

Post by LadyKestrel »

Over at AG I was looking at an extended gameplay video of this game today, and it looks like one I might like to play when it's finished. It's a hybrid RPG/adventure that includes time travel. On your first trip through the portal, you learn that there is no crime in the beautiful ancient city because the gods will punish everyone if someone commits a crime. Of course, you are put in the position where you have to commit one, and that's where the portal comes in handy. The story grabbed me, so I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Now this sounds like an intriguing game.

This is a full fledged, standalone remake of one of the most popular Skyrim mods ever made.

I've never played an RPG, but this one, at least from the video, looks workable for me. I'll see how it gets reviewed when it comes out.

It kind f surprises me it's listed as an RPG because even though Skyrim is an RPG I don't remember the mod itself really making use of, or relying on, any of the RPG mechanics. It's been awhile though, so maybe I've just forgotten about them.

Darn! I thought I saw something about a Mac port, but it looks like it's just for Windows and Xbox One.
