Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships

Post by Ghostlady »

I finally finished Nancy Drew Ransom of the Seven Ships. I have to say this is one of the harder ones. If I'd have known, I would have played the Junior level instead of Senior. There were many "timed" areas and the puzzles seemed move difficult than usual. I captured a handful of saves for the hard parts. I am happy to move on to a different game now.

I had a lot of problems finishing Seven Ships because of all the timers and arcade sequences (I won't call them puzzles). It took me forever to get through some of them. I get bored spending over half an hour trying to accomplish one thing, and never making progress.

I was glad to be done with the game and couldn't wait to give it away, despite that I've saved most of my Nancy Drew games on disc for a replay at some future date. And there are some of them that I've replayed and enjoyed. Even my older disc versions seem to work OK on modern Windows, like 7 and 8.1.

Anyway, congratulations on finishing the game and making saves.

I have most of the ND games on disc also but not this one. I couldn’t find a hard copy anywhere. Not even on EBAY. I finally found it at BFG. I then learned later that Her Interactive has pulled it off the market and will no longer sell it due to a particular scene and all the social climate.
