New Illustrated Children's Book by a Game Writer
New Illustrated Children's Book by a Game Writer
Steve Ince, one of our esteemed members, who was employed by Revolution Software, where he worked on titles such as Beneath a Steel Sky, the Broken Sword series, In Cold Blood and Gold and Glory: The Road to El Dorado, has just released an illustrated children's book and it is out for the Kindle.
The Quinton Quads and the Mystery of Malprentice Manor is a mystery adventure that involves danger, rescue and determination on the part of our four heroes.

Well done, Steve Ince. Glad to hear you are still creating things.

He's still pretty active - as well as game writing he's been making comics:

He does all his own artwork. It is amazing.

I like his cartoon style. I remember when he was working on Mr. Smoozles Goes Nutso years ago.

Thank you for posting this and for the kind words by everyone. Although I love making games, some stories have to be told in other ways.

By the way, if any of you read the book and like it, a review on Amazon will be greatly appreciated.

I plan on buying it as soon as I load Kindle on my IPAD. I don't want to read it on my little Paperwhite.

The illustrations work quite well on the paperwhite but will be better on the iPad, certainly.
I've attached a couple of the internal illustrations for people here to see.

I posted it on Revolutions Discord page. But most of them are bug fixing BASS2 at the moment.

I bought this book today from Amazon US and there is a $2.00 promotion on it. The cost was $1.47. I would say go for it.

Is the book digital only?
