Yeah, that's too long for my available surface space. Thanks for thinking of me, though, Ghostlady. :)

I learned the hard way that I’m allergic to jigsaw puzzles. Who knew that was a thing? I think it might be from the traces of dust that get left behind in the manufacturing process. I sneeze like crazy! So I only do electronic ones now.

Funny the different things that people are allergic to. I've never heard of a puzzle dust allergy. I've did the electronic jigsaws in the past. They are fun too.

Yeah, it’s kind of like audio books versus reading to me. You get the same content but the experience is not as good.

A lot of cardboard puzzles do have a lot of dust. You could do wooden ones, Jen, but they are more expensive and harder to find. My sister was collecting them for a couple of years until she ran out of room and gave them all to a friend without telling me. Needless to say, I haven't bought her any but the cardboard ones since then.

I have an electronic program with 1001 nature jigsaws of various sizes that I got from the Mac Game Store, but I like Peter's jigsaws the best. I do one every Friday.

I still love Peter's jigsaw puzzles the best too. Have you come across one of a horse made of old truck engine parts?

I like Peter's Jigsaws, too. I used to have a lot of puzzle games on my Mac, including those with museum paintings, but most of them stopped working on the later versions of Mac OS (especially those that weren't updated to run on OS X, or later with 64 bit). Computer apps are really handy (especially if you have a bigger monitor (like on my iMac) in a lot of ways, but building an actual physical puzzle is more calming and immersive for me.

I think I may have. I'll have to check my gallery. Was that one from you?

I prefer real pieces, too, Jude, but sometimes I just want a puzzle that takes me a half-hour to complete rather than a week.

That's why I have some low piece count puzzles. :) Quite a few between 250 and 400 pieces (including some vintage ones), but also a bunch of 100 - 200 piece ones. Many of them are small footprint puzzles, too.

I like to take my time. :) Also, different images and puzzle cuts can make puzzles harder or easier, no matter the piece count.

I totally agree. I did a 300 piece once that had all browns and it took me almost as long as a 500 piece.

Yes, LadyK, that one was from me. I was working a complaint of a sewage spill in a creek. It was hot as balls and I'd been walking this creek bed for a good hour. I came to a place where I had to climb out of the creek and there this metal horse was in a yard. It was just an amazing piece, so I grabbed a couple of pictures of it with my work camera. I went back about 15 years later and it was gone. It made for an interesting jigsaw puzzle!

I don't think I've ever done the puzzle, but I do remember you posting the picture before. It was a very clever creation.
