Good news! I took my old windows 7 to my DIL's house because her mother is an IT whiz and she worked on my windows 7 and got it working again! thank goodness. I owe her big time - maybe some flowers or something. so, I can pick it up tomorrow. she said that it wasn't a virus, something corrupted my windows. I am keeping my old computer forever - I love it!

I still have my old XP AND my old Windows 7! I love them too. I do not connect them to the internet though - it's just too dangerous. The bad guys have really targeted the old operating systems which are no longer getting security updates.
