I agree with Faust's humble suggestion...

The latest in my sound arsenal , is the Sennheiser HD598 SE headphones . Very comfortable , & probably the best sounding headphones I've heard . That is , until I can afford the HD650's :)

I'm lusting after some Kraken headphones from Razer, but can't afford them!

I'd be happy to forward my Electra headphones , Drac . Twist my arm , I may be persuaded to part with my Sony headphones .

Absolutely nothing wrong with that :D Feel that way about the Sennheiser HD 650's . The fly in the ointment , is I'll need an amp to push them properly . Headphone amps aren't exactly cheap though .Last I saw , the local wally world has the Kraken Pro for $80 I believe .

There's always something, isn't there! Retirement brings somewhat limited resources though unless I want to start tapping into my retirement savings. And that's not going to happen. That tidy sum is going to stay right where it is.

Can't say I blame you one iota . My hd598 se's , I paid less than $100 , they were in like new condition . Considering what they usually sell for (an Amazon exclusive) , I was very lucky .

I always have a problem when buying headphones as I have a small head - does anyone else have this problem where most sets just slip off my head? However my Sony headphones fit me perfectly

My head is also small and my cordless Seinnheiser headphones fall off when I am vacuuming or doing something which requires bending. Found out that if I wear them backwards it seems to work!! Must look a right charlie though. :)
