Wireless Headphones for PC?
Do they make wireless headphones for the PC? You wont believe the number of times I have walked away from my PC recently with the headphones still on my head!

Ha,ha! We have a commercial on TV right now showing people walking away from their computers or whatever still wearing their headphones! It's pretty funny. I don't remember what brand of wireless headphones they are selling, but there are tons of them out there.
Just for shopping purposes, you could go to Amazon UK and look up wireless headphones and then sort it by 4 stars and above for reviews.

Re: Wireless Headphones for PC?
Wireless headphones have been available for some time now. The ones I tried used Bluetooth wireless (2.4 to 2.485 GHz). I sent them back because they didn't fit right, but they did work.
There are also wireless headphones that use RF wireless (3 kHz to 300 GHz). One or the other (Bluetooth vs RF) might work better depending on whether you have other wireless devices using one of those ranges in your home and causing interference.
Even if the headphones had fit, I'm not sure if I'd have kept them. I had to "pair" them with the computer I was using every time I used them. And though my laptop had Bluetooth built in, my desktop did not. Also it would have been one more thing that ate batteries that I had to keep track of. There are wireless headphones that are rechargeable, but check reviews about power problems -- there can be issues with power running out if you game for hours.

I guess you could download and run speccy and see if it lists a Bluetooth device.Rosaboobie wrote:Hmmm, thanks Middletoe - I dont know if my PC does have bluetooth - How can I find out?

You don't need to buy speccy -- just run the free version and look at the output.
(I learned about speccy from Draclvr, and it can be very useful)
If your computer doesn't have Bluetooth, you might be able to use a USB-to-Bluetooth adapter.
RF headphones might be more likely to come with their own RF transmitter, which you'd plug into a USB port.
Here are a couple of sites that compare Bluetooth headphones with RF -- and apparently there are also some IR headphones (infrared).

Your computer doesn't have Bluetooth, Rosaboobie, but your Nexus does. You would look for USB wireless headphones, not Bluetooth.

Yes, I have just this week bought a pair of Bluetooth headphones for my Google Nexus. Not used them yet though.

I like the Logitech headphones for your computer because they use those tiny little USB receivers. You can also pair them with multiple devices so you don't have to fill up all your USB ports.
But like middletoe says, you never know if they will be a comfortable fit for you. Most of the new ones try to be adjustable enough to fit anyone.

Re: Wireless Headphones for PC?
I do have a problem with headphones because I have a small head, and a lot of them just fall off me. The Sony headphones I have used for years are a wonderful fit.
EDIT: I cant see how the Logitech headphones are charged up? Via the PC?

Re: Wireless Headphones for PC?
Sennheiser would be another brand to check out .

Re: Wireless Headphones for PC?
I have a set of Sennheiser and they are wonderful. The battery is charged when they are replaced on the stand. I use them with the television or ipad usually and can continue listening while I vacuum which is a plus.
Re: Wireless Headphones for PC?
Best thing to do , if possible , is to go to a store & try them on , see what fits , & what you think sounds best . I would humbly suggest however , to purchase headphones from an actual audio company (Sony , Sennheiser , Audio Technica , AKG , etc) .
