It's hard to narrow it down to only three, but these were very memorable:
Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern - magic, romance & suspense
Moriarity by Anthony Horowitz - a mystery with twists
A Song of Ice and Fire: Book One - A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin - beautifully written and hard to put down. I've already started book two

I read mostly crap, and a lot of it. I did read one truly memorable, not-crap series by N.K. Jemison, The Broken Earth.

Special mention to Peace Talks - JIm Butcher

Worst book I read this year was Ready Player Two - Ernst Cline huge disappointment as I loved the first book

I read this one, which is very good, and Butcher's newest, Battle Ground, which is even better.
