Quite a few years ago, I read this book called Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah, and I have never forgotten it to this day. It had me crying and sobbing. Not just tears running down my face, but choking up sobbing where I had to catch my breath. No other book has ever done this to me. It is a well written story but very sad. I've always thought that any writer that can pull that kind of emotion out of someone is truly a good writer. I've read most of Kristin Hannah's books and they are all very dramatic but this one in particular is something else!
I see that Firefly Lane has been made into a movie and will be televised on Netflix on February 8.
