The Storm Sister by Lucinda Riley

Post by Ghostlady »

I just finished The Storm Sister which is #2 in the Seven Sisters series. This one takes place in Norway. All these stories start out in current time and then they all flip to the past and that past has a link to the present. The locations are different for each book. The first book took place in Brazil.

Lucinda is on of my top ten authors and I am enjoying this series.

This series sounds like one I would love! I'm always looking for stories set in Norway.

Only the second book is in Norway. I think the third is in England. First in Brazil.

On book 3, called The Shadow Sister. This is the best one so far. This sister's story takes place in England. If you like Historical fiction, these books are for you.

All right, you persuaded me to try it. I bought book 1 in the series. I’ll start it as soon as I finish my current book.

I just finished the first book. I liked it quite a bit, although I found it too slow in some parts. I really liked the incorporation of real historical persons and the flipping back and forth between two time periods.

I got through three books so far and I agree the first book ran through some slow parts. I think they get better as they go. They are all huge books, 500 to 600 pages, so a big commitment and they all run on the present/past storyline. I plan to forge ahead with the whole series because I am a Lucinda Riley fan. I am glad you liked it.
