A Vampyre Story now at GOG

Post by draclvr »

I got an email today announcing that A Vampyre Story is now available as a download from GOG. No matter what I tried, I could not get this game to run on Windows 10 because of the DRM. And an extra plus is that it is on sale for $3.99!

I have already purchased and hope to be able to play one of my favorite games this weekend!

I have the disk too, Lucien. But it won't play on Windows 10 because of the DRM.

It's a good one! I just wish they would finish the story.

Me too. I read a lot about the original developers losing their rights to the game. Then they got them back again... can't remember all the details. There is a Facebook page which is still active.

They had a Kickstarter for creating a prequel to A Vampyre Story, but it wasn't funded. I think they would have done better to ask for funding to finish the story first, then go back and do a prequel.

By the way, if you liked A Vampyre Story, you should try Anna's Quest if you haven't already.

I have to agree with the whole prequel vs. finishing the story concept. That's what I wanted.
