Nancy Drew Ransom on the Seven Seas Coconut Throw Game Save

Post by Ghostlady »

I can't remember if I've ever had such a hard puzzle on a Nancy Drew game. There is a stinkin coconut throw game with a bunch of monkeys that laugh at you the whole time. It took me hours to get past it and I was ready to toss the game because you HAVE to win it to get past it. After finally succeeding, I got that save and put it up in the Attic saves. Thankfully I can move on to play something spooky soon.

I am not surprised. I was out there Googling for a save and came up with nothing.

You will probably save many headaches with your save, GL. :thumleft:

I hated that puzzle! Thanks for the save, though I'll probably not replay that one, others will appreciate it.

I pushed on because I wanted that save. I was very close to calling an end though.

Yes, it took me ages. I hated all those monkey games. And I played them heaps of extra times when I was stuck, just in case there was a prize I needed 😭

The one thing I don't like about Nancy Drew were the timed actions and the almost impossible games! Don't mind serious puzzles but hate the 'arcade games'. Puzzles need thought and working out those need joystick mentality.

I do like the Nancy Drew games and I don't know what draws me to them. Some have harder puzzles than others and some have horrible timed scenes but it is quite fulfilling when you actually accomplish these puzzles. I still have a stack I have to get through from the years I wasn't playing adventure games. So you may hear me whine from time to time or explode with "I did it!"
