Woohoo! Thanks Drac.
Re: Geospots, a Carol Reed Game
Nice. Guess it's about that time of year for another tour in and around Norrkoping. (the closest I'll ever get to visit Sweden lol) Mikael hasn't sent me an email about this quite yet but I have bookmarked the link. Thanks!

Good to see you, RCB! I forgot to mention that it will be released in February 2020, so that's probably why you haven't gotten an email from Mikael. Been doing any other gaming?

Re: Geospots, a Carol Reed Game
Currently playing Life is Strange 2 just started chapter 4. Highly recommended. Two brothers surviving after a horrible tradegy leaving their father killed by police(?) and wanted by the kids on the run to Mexico. Much better than the original game imho. Next in line will be the walking dead final season.
Recent games I've enjoyed:
Mudlarks, by Cloak and Daggers games (free to play but donations are accepted)
The Dream Machine
Rusty Lake series

I've been reading some good things about Life is Strange 2. Might have to look into that one!

It's good to see you, RCB! I've always been attracted to the Carol Reed games, but there aren't any that have been ported to Macs. I've heard good things about the Rusty Lake games - very puzzle oriented, which I like.

Re: Geospots, a Carol Reed Game
Actually the Carol Reed games from Shades of Black through Fall of April used to be made for Mac OSX 10.7 or higher as well as Windows.LadyKestrel wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:56 pm I've always been attracted to the Carol Reed games, but there aren't any that have been ported to Macs.
Web archive page for Fall of April
Web archive page for The Birdwatcher
Web archive page for Profound Red
Web archive page for Shades of Black
The current webpages for these four games no longer list OSX as compatible. I'm guessing this is because the latest OSX 10.15 (Catalina) dropped support for 32-bit programs.

I thought there were a few of them that were Mac compatible, but when I checked recently and didn't see any mention of Macs, I thought I had made a mistake. I'll have to contact the developer to see if they're still available for 10.10.

I always looked forward to them. Been so busy last couple of years though I'm far behind. Like four games behind. But hope to have more time now.
