On my nostalgic trip I’m replaying “Day of the Tentacle” a very clever game - I would start “Beyond a Steel Sky” but currently you have to sign up for Apple Arcade on the iPad which I don’t want to do.

Playing The Lost Crown which was also on sale on Steam. Rather enjoying it. Lots of atmosphere, set in Wales, caves, fog and ghosts!

Well...I just finished Dark Fall Lost Souls. What a dark, depressing game! I have to admit, I hated it! That is one game, I likely will never want to replay! It's my least favorite of Jonathan Boakes games. Back to Everlight. Much more uplifting and enjoyable!

It was my least favorite Dark Fall game too! Loved some of the others, but not that one so much.

Just finished “Day of the Tentacle” - wonderful - before I have another retro happening going to try “Life is Strange”.

I'd second the recommendation for Lost Crown, Val! But it's not set in Wales - it's Cornwall, like most of Jonathan Boakes's games. A few years ago I went to Polperro and visited the Harbour Cottage (or at least posed for a photo outside it) in real life!

I remember that too. I think I contacted Jonathan Boakes to come look at the picture and he commented on it? Is that correct?

It is correct! I have since met him, at a Doctor Who event last year - seems a lovely chap!
