I'm playing The Silent Age and am enjoying it very much so far.

The voice acting is good, and I like the colorful graphics. So far the puzzles have been relatively easy but fun to figure out, and I'm anxious to see where the story goes.

Has anyone played Silent Age on a phone? Is the voice acting essential or would it play ok with the sound down?

You get clues from some of the characters, so you'd have to be able to hear them.

I just installed and started Everlight on my Windows 10 laptop. It figured out the compatibility. I didn't have to play with anything. It doesn't play in wide screen, but I can deal with the black on the edges of my screen. I really don't want to play with resolutions for the sake of getting rid of those. So far, I'm enjoying it.

Don't you love it when things just work - more or less!

You got that right, Drac. At first I tried to get it to play widescreen by trying something I saw in Google. It didn't work and afterward the game wouldn't open. It just crashed to the desktop. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It worked. No more playing around after that...just playing the game.

BTW: Steam is having a sale on a couple games on my wish list. I just got Dark Fall Ghost Vigil for 50% off and House of Da Vinci for 80% off. Not bad.

That's so awesome. Winfrey just got one I've never heard of called, We Happy Few. I think it's kind of an action/adventure.

I just finished playing The Eyes of Ara. It's a first person game that takes place in a castle, and there are lots of secret areas to discover and puzzles to solve. It took me over 20 hours to complete, and I really enjoyed it.

I'm sure I will, Drac!
Ooh! The Eyes of Ara is on sale at Steam for only $4.49 until July 9. Think I'll pick that one up soon on your recommendation, Lady K!

Re: What adventure game are you playing?
Well...I realized that I had not yet played Dark Fall Lost Souls, so I decided to load that up on my Windows 10 machine. It installed and launched, but I was having some mouse issues, so i used the compatibility troubleshooter. Windows selected Vista for the compatibility and it works fine. It won't play widescreen, but the aspect ratio is maintained so I can deal with the game not stretching fully across the screen. Boy what a dark and spooky game. I think I'll alternate it with Everlight so I don't get into a "dark" mood!
