New Monitor for Christmas

Post by Ghostlady »

I don't even know how old my monitor is, that's how old. So I bought myself a new monitor during the Black Friday sales. My grandson is a big time gamer and he wanted one of these so that's all the advice I needed. So here it is. A Sceptre C30 curved monitor. I finally found time to set it up tonight. Can't wait to try a game. It's amazing!

Swanky! I’ve never seen a monitor that wide.

Its more wide than tall and I find it easier to see with bi-focals. I don't have to tip my head up so much.

Now THAT is a thing of beauty! As I said in the post where you asked about the curved monitors, I told you I absolutely love my curved 24" Samsung monitor. I forget about it until I have to use a flat screen and then I miss the curves.

Yes, Drac your advice sealed the deal. Since I will also use it as a work monitor I needed to know how documents like excel spreadsheets displayed.

Impressive! So with these curved monitors is there a kind of focus point to look at them from?

Mine is not as big as Ghostlady's - only 24" - but, no, there is no focal point to view them from.

Wow, that looks great! I am looking at tablets at the moment. Mine is so slow and old I never use it, just my phone. So it's probably time for a treat!

I'd say you're right, skeeter! I dearly love my Microsoft Surface tablet.

I got this as a Christmas present this year. I am pleased with it so far. It has a nice 10 inch wide screen.

And just as I picked my tablet the freezer started playing up - so no tablet for me 😭
