I've been studying Google Analytics lately for our site . Pretty interesting stuff. The one thing I really wanted to do was find a way to report on the number of downloads, like the saves. Finally got that mastered. In this process I learned you can connect your Google Analytics with your Google Search Analytics. So here's the really interesting thing. The top searches for our site is a walkthrough for Nancy Drew Haunted Carousel. So I went to Google . com and typed in Nancy Drew Haunted Carousel walkthrough and sure enough Mysterymanor is #2 on the list. So why do I think this is so interesting? Because... in 2002 when I first started this website, you had to pay to get your site in a search engine. I used 3 different engines to get this place noticed on the web. Google was one of them and the other two have faded off to the twilight zone. So now, if you are not a business or have something special, Google's algorithm hardly will even notice you. How many of the older, personal sites do you even see anymore? Remember all the fairy sites and the Halloween sites? You probably won't find them unless you dig really deep. So you see, I am just thrilled when I see Mystery Manor on the first page of the Google search.
The second screenshot is me testing downloads and how many times a file was downloaded. Pretty cool stuff.

Re: Google Analytics & Mystery Manor
I always note the search engines on the bottom of the page. Bing is another one that shows up a lot. I might try a similar search in that search engine.

Ha,good find Drac! Don’t think I’ve ever been on top of GB. All the inserted Google code must be working.

Re: Google Analytics & Mystery Manor
So, would the inserted Google code also work in the Bing search engine?
