Photo Bucket Account

Does anyone have a Photo Bucket account. I have one but I haven't used it in a while. I'm a little concerned about getting billed. I have the free account and I'm in the dark about how this new billing works. They sent me an email to activate my account but I'm afraid they'll charge me. Any ideas?

I honestly didn't know Photobucket was still around.

A quick look shows they sure want you to pay for it, but tucked away in much smaller font it appears they do have a free tier that lets you store up to 250 images, though I didn't look to see what limitations they impose.

For photos I want to share on the internet I uses Flikr ( free gives you 1000 photos/videos) while Google Photos is what I uses for personal storage (15gb worth of stuff). I don't keep a lot of photos though, so they are more than enough for my purposes.

I pay for Photobucket's unlimited linking and storage which I use mostly for game quizzes and tournaments. They moved everything to new servers last year and changed their format to make it easier to use, but there were some glitches along the way. It still gives me fits sometimes, but they're relatively quick with a fix when something goes wrong. I haven't lost anything yet and still have screenshots there going back 10 years or more.

My hubby had the idea of using my email to attach pics. I have Mediafire which I use for when I release games. It works alright for now. Thanks for the info, I just didn't want to get billed.
