amazon account information

I ordered something from Amazon and about 1/2 hour later I got an email that looked like from Amazon that said it wanted account information. I have been reading about things like this so I deleted it without opening the pdf file. should I have?

You would not have been able to order anything from Amazon unless you had all the necessary information completed at Amazon. So I think you were wise not to open the email. You could always go back to your Amazon account and make sure your order is showing and looks ok.

I agree. I would log in to your account at Amazon and see if there is anything there. Sometimes you can tell these scams by looking at the return address domain. It will be something off...
