I am in fact celebrating tonight with a glass of red. Legal paperwork is 99% done. I think I can safely say the house is now mine. Whoop whoop, I am one very happy bunny

Yippee! If it wasn't so late here - 11:30 pm - I'd grab a bottle of red and celebrate with you!

Well.done RB! I move on Monday and my house is full.of boxes. Stay where you are and get movers to pack and move your stuff! Too stressful otherwise.
Hope you and the puppies will be extremely happy in your new home.
Cheers! Am sipping my wine after defrosting the fridge!

The train always makes me laugh - it is only two carriages long, as you can see in the video.

I went to the small local convenience store yesterday morning, and do you know what, every single customer in there spoke to me, even though they didnt know me. It's such a very friendly village - it really made me feel good.

My landlord's Mum, Christine, took me to the monthly coffee morning at Rogart Hall a couple of days ago, and all the tea ladies were dressed as Easter Bunnies, including tail, ha ha.

Oh, that's just the best! I seems like you are already "at home" in your new home even though you haven't physically moved yet.

It sounds like a wonderful community, RB! Best wishes as you tie up all the loose ends moving can generate.

Best of luck with your move, too, Val!

Val, where are you moving to? To be nearer your family?

I hope your moving goes well RB and you are really happy in your new home and I hope the dogs adapt well to their new environment. The video you supplied really shows that this is a gorgeous place and I also noticed that they mentioned that the Grand Parents of Canada's 1st Prime Minister stayed there, wow what a small world.

RB, I have to ask: How is the Internet connection there? Is it the same or better? I am sure that is the least of your concern but I am just curious.
Again, best of luck and congrats on your new home, may it be the last move, but again as you said earlier, "Nothing is Ever permanent"...

I have moved further down the Peninsula nearer the sea and just around the corner from my son and his family, RB! The move was chaotic but went well and by the following lunchtime, all was packed away and boxes removed! My family were brilliant. I am now in a retirement village in a first floor unit with the most fabulous views of the mountains from both sides and beautiful gardens all around. Everyone is very friendly and I am sure I will be happy here.
