Aw guys thanks so much! Had a lovely birthday even though it was a blustery rainy Monday! Met a dear friend for lunch and as we had not seen each other for awhile, we had a wonderful time catching up on all our news with much laughter.
The rain came down in torrents as I was driving to the venue. It has been years since I have had to put the wipers on full speed and seen the roads so temporarily flooded! It carried on most of the morning and hopefully this means the drought has finished. If this happened on my birthday then I am doubly thankful!

Happy belated birthday Val! I hate driving in the rain - but I would gladly do it if there was a drought. I found out after picking up my grandsons from a birthday party at night that I am pretty much night blind. I don't think I will drive again at night unless it is an emergency.
