Back from holiday
Back from holiday
One reason I’ve been quiet these last two weeks is that I’ve been on a cruise round the British Isles and out of Internet contact for most of that. If you don’t want to be bored by someone else’s holiday log don’t click on https://www.alofmethbin.com/Articles/Di ... index.html !
Re: Back from holiday
Fascinating!! Thanks for the tour and sharing your cruise, Kickaha - am now looking forward to your next holiday.
Re: Back from holiday
I LOVE your holiday pictures! I live vicariously through them to see places I never will in person.
EDIT: Wonderful! And you were within shouting distance of Rosaboobie! She lives on the Isle of Sandy in the Orkneys.

I should have dropped in shouldn’t I! Sorry Rosaboobie it wasn’t intentional!
Thanks for looking at these pictures!

Re: Back from holiday
I like the way you organize your trips online, Peter. It's fun to read your commentary with pictures and links to click on.
My late husband's family on his dad's side are from Ballygowan, Northern Ireland, which is southeast of Belfast, and his grandfather helped build the Titanic. I hope to go over to visit the cousins next spring, so I'll be sure to visit the museum. My sister is a Titanic fanatic, so I'll have to take pictures for her and bring back souvenirs.
I also took a look at Virginia's wonderful cakes. I especially like the Dr. Who and Peanuts cake for your birthday a couple of years ago since those are two of all-time my favorites as well.

Thanks for looking Lady K! There’s a lot to see in the Titanic exhibition, it will keep you busy!
Re: Back from holiday
Looks like you had a great holiday. Would love to go to that Titanic exhibition as well. Titanic fanatic here too (thank you Titanic: Adventure out of Time). Did visit a couple of Titanic expo's in the past. Always impressive to see items that were really on the Titanic.
