Today I lost my best friend

To all my manorite friends...today my Mom passed away at the age of 91. She was a beautiful Mom and taught me so many wonderful life lessons through her example of loving people unconditionally. I was fortunate to have her living with me for the past 3 and a half years. I'll miss her greatly but I know she's with Our Lord in heaven and likely loving every minute of it!

Oh, no. So very sorry for the loss of your mother, JK. I know you have really enjoyed having her with you the last few years. It must be comforting to know you helped make her happy.

My 94 year old mother is not expected to make it either. She is hospitalized and we are leaving tomorrow morning to make the 600 mile trip up to NW Iowa.

I'm so sorry for your loss, JKEerie. I'll be thinking of you. My mother too isn't doing very well. I guess a lot of us are at the age where our mothers are older and we are dreading that phone call.

THanks for sharing this JK - having lost my mother a few years back I do sympathise. A lot of memories are tied up with our mothers.
