booyah?
booyah?
I had never heard of this and a friend out in Florida said that he goes to Minnesota to get their booyah. I have been looking at recipes and wondering if anyone has a favorite that they use? Growing up in the midwest, I am amazed that I never heard of this before.
Re: booyah?
I've never heard of it either! I grew up in NW Iowa and it's new to me too... It says it is Belgian in origin and we mostly have Scandanavians where I'm from.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.
Re: booyah?
The only "Booyah" I'm familiar with is an expression that is used, particularly by sports broadcasters after a good play. I think I heard it first on ESPN.
Re: booyah?
I thought it was just an expression too, but if it's a chicken and veg stew I've been making it for years! You'll have to ask your friend for the receipt, mbday.
