I think I would run it just to watch the cats. Pita, the crabby house cat is very leery and watches from afar. But the two "barn cats" who spend a lot of time inside stalk it. It's a hoot to watch them when it disappears under the couch!

Do you have high pile carpet or low pile? I showed this to hubby and told him that I wanted it for Christmas and he said that it wouldn't work on our medium pile carpet - that it only worked with low pile.

Mine is low pile... that doesn't mean the "berber" type, but a carpet with an actual pile.

I got one of these Drac and I love it! I have been bragging how good it is to everyone and my brother called me today and asked which one I got and I showed him this one and he is going to order one too. I can't believe how much stuff it gets out of rooms that I don't even let the dogs or cats into. So far, so good. Thanks for this suggestion.

So glad you like it, mbday! I don't know what I did without mine! I'm turning him loose upstairs in the bedroom tomorrow to go under the bed where I can't clean. Love it!
