Thank you, my friends, for the Birthday wishes. Unfortunately this Birthday has a big fat zero on the end ha ha - Can't believe how the years have flown by!
As you may or may not know, I am a computer and games freak - suffer dreadful withdrawal symptoms instantly when no PC lol - so you can imagine how the last few weeks have been for me in that 3 weeks ago, after a Windows update, I lost my sound and just could not get it back again, even with all Drac's efforts, and then 2 weeks ago the Hard Drive failed. Drac suggested an SSD which I instantly bought online and had it sent direct to the techie in town. Unfortunately, due to local delivery logistics, my tower took 4 days just to get to town and then it had to wait its turn to be seen to seeing as the techie was so very busy. Oh, the joys of living on a rather remote island. Well, my beloved PC tower was returned to me just in time for my Birthday - what a wonderful pressie that was. I now have a clean blank machine to play with, although unfortunately he was not able to retrieve the date from the old HD. I am once again very very happy lol!
And of course I did have a glass of vino or two last night to celebrate!
