Off on another cruise

My wife and I are off on another cruise tomorrow, this time to the Baltics. So I'll be quieter than my normal quiet for the next fortnight!

Visiting foreign ports is nice. Making friends as you eat meals in a posh restaurant is nice. Not having to go to work each day is nice. But I really love is getting stuck into reading books whilst I'm aboard!

Nice pictures, Kickaha! It sounds like you had a good trip, despite the border problem. One of your pictures shows a lot of art on the wall, and a couple of the paintings look familiar to me. Did you learn anything about them?

Sorry Lady Kestrel, that was in Catherine's Palace in St Petersburg and we were being marched through. The paintings were used in an unusual way, almost more as tiled wallpaper than as art gallery. There was a name for that style of using pictures but I've forgotten it!
