Summer fun!

Post by draclvr »

Our B & B is open for the summer! Flew my 13 year old grandson here from Denver last Tuesday for some alone time with Grandpa and Grandma. My son and the rest of the family arrived on Sunday - they drove from Denver. So I have a houseful of Colorado grandkids, my son and DIL. They are having a great time between the pool, the cats and the chickens. Grandpa is taking them up to our 120 acre farm about 15 minutes from here to do a little fishing on the 4 acre lake up there and maybe a little paddle boating.

They will leave next Saturday to drive back to Colorado. Then on the 22nd, Günter and Petra will arrive from Germany for their annual 3 1/2 week stay. BUSY!

That's the good kind of busy, Drac! Enjoying the company of family and friends...even though there's a lot of "doing and fetching." I'm sure they all appreciate your efforts...as well as your presence in their lives!

Sounds like a lot of fun. Would love to go to a place with a big lake nearby. Enjoy.

For me, I will take a trip to Paris alone for a week and a weekend to Brussels with my little sister.

I don't know, Sneaker... Paris and a weekend to Brussels sounds pretty good to me!

Sure will be great. Love Paris, can't even count the number of times I've been there for the summer. Will be the first time for Brussels though.

Sounds like you are going to be even busier than usual - but this time enjoying the lovely times with friends and family - what better way to enjoy life!

It sounds like you are having lots of fun. My hubby is in Florida for 2 weeks and so I am going to have fun being alone with my dogs. Of course my first day of "aloneness" had me babysitting 3 kids overnight.
