Draclvr in Hospital!
Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Thanks, Val. Feeling much better, but will feel even better than that when they figure out what is going on!

Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Agree the waiting is worse almost! Sincerely hope they sort you out pronto and in the meantime, try and put those niggling thoughts on the back burner. Drink some red wine!!
Sure to help.
Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Good point, Val! Also going out to work in the tomatoes!

Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
That will surely help too!!
Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Hope you're on the mend soon!
Shouldn't you take it easy with the humidity and bending up and down in the tomato patch?

Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
I probably should! Someone down at Longmeadow said, "Take it easy! Look it up in the dictionary!"
Actually none of that seems to bother me at all. It actually feels good to get out and do some work.

Do what you love to do - enjoy the moment! Life is too *** short!

Don't I know it! I've already buried two husbands at ages 52 and 54...

Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Thanks for the info, Drac. I looked corticosteroid up and it seem quite similar to the cortisone injections I had for my broken hip. I agree they do work wonders, but apparently a side effect is that the cortisone damages cartilage and has to be used sparingly. My surgeon says I can have another if I'm going on holiday, for example, and know I'll be doing a lot of walking, otherwise I shouldn't have more. I only had two so feel quite let down.
Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Me too Drac! Didn't want to risk another!!
Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Yes, Diat... my husband can only have 3 in a 6 month period. They limit you because of the possibility of cartilage damage. It all depends on where they are giving them. But even in his spine where there is no cartilage, he is still limited because of other side effects.
Absolutely not, Val!

Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
Had my gyneocological oncologist appointment today and we have a plan! On September 23rd they will do surgery and do a complete hysterectomy. We won't know what this mass is - or isn't - until they do pathology on it while I am still under. All I want is for this show to be on the road! At least I'm feeling great. Canned another 12 quarts of chili sauce yesterday!

Re: Draclvr in Hospital!
So sorry to hear you have to have the op Drac! :( Pleased to hear, though, that you are feeling well. You will be relieved when it is all over I'm sure. Sending positive thoughts your way. ♥
