Black Dahlia's Big Move!
Re: Black Dahlia's Big Move!
Oh, that is such a good idea, Rosaboobie! BD has told me she is very ill and barely able to take care of herself right now. I told her it has barely been 24 hours that she has made one of the biggest changes in her entire life and to give it time. I'm sure they are all exhausted - it sound like her son and DIL did all the last minute packing over about 4 or 5 days.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that she's very ill. I guess the long trip was hard on her. Here's hoping a few days rest will make her feel better.

Gosh, I really feel for them all - they must all be totally drained physically and mentally - they have all had a real tough 5 days and for sure BD is not going to get over this move that quickly.
Diat, BD has not been in the best of health for a long time now - the packing up of her home and the long journey will have for sure taken it out of her, poor Donna.

Plus, BD is a very proud and independent woman who has pretty much taken care of herself all of her nearly 92 years. I know how difficult giving up her independence was for my mother and I'm sure this is very hard for BD too. Time, time, time!!

Agree RB - it must have been hard on her son and his wife - stressful times for all. It is hard for someone who is strongly independent to have that independence taken away. Getting old SUCKS!
