I saw my first "Baltimoriole" of the year yesterday. I am so pumped! This is the earliest that I have seen one and I try to entice them to stay around my house for as long as I can. Now to just see my hummingbirds! This is my favorite time of the year.

My hummers are SO slow to arrive this year. Usually I have a few by April 15th. But it's almost the end of April and I still only have a few. I don't know if the migration is behind this year or if something happened to my "resident" population.

I usually get Orioles after Mbday does. Better dig out my orange and grape jelly feeder. Hummers arrive here in May.
