When I put the weekly refuse out yesterday morning by the roadside, everywhere I walked in my field was greeny brown goose poo. AND this is only from just 5 geese who visit me regularly. The poor catlle must be eating grass covered in the stuff - doesnt bear thinking about. Ours need to be culled as the numbers on Sanday are into 5 figures now. The local shop in town is advertising a laser bird scarer for sale. What with the geese and the large noisy flocks of starlings (not my favourite bird) I am seriously thinking of buying one of these lasers!

The daughter of a friend of mine used to be part of the Geese Police to shoo the Canada geese out of school yards and parks.
I’m more confused than a chameleon in a bagful of Skittles.

But, what happens if everybody buys a geese scarer? You're going to have an island full of bewildered geese with nowhere to land!
