I can just picture those robins with their swimming shorts on, Diat

I have beautiful little wrens living in my dry stone walling - I just love to watch these tiny birds.

I think the tiny little wrens are the most interesting birds! For such a little bird, they have the LOUDEST song!

I have several wren houses scattered around in my garden. I think they sound like canaries when they sing.

When I ask my parrot what's new, he say's "No Snow!" :)

Yes, an African Gray. He calls himself, little baby birdie boy, and he calls me mother!

I got him as a baby, didn't even have all his feathers, and I had to spoon feed him twice a day. When I would feed him, I would say," there you go little baby birdie boy", so he thinks that's his name. And when I would say no to teenage requests, I would get, "Mother, everyone has one" he knew I was the mother they were talking to, since they were in my face! :D

Many years ago, I used to have a yellow fronted Amazon parrot - In those days they were caught in the wild - he was also a baby when we got him, and people would think I was in the house because he could imitate my laugh, amongst other things. He too was a wonderful talker.

I, too, had a captive-bred African gray that I raised from the time she was 8-weeks old. Her name was Woozle, and she was a wonderful mimic. She lived to be 30, and I still miss her chatter and noises.

Is it a myth that parrots can live to about 100 years old?

Some, but I think it's closer to 50 years.
