Absolutely, I need an extra property to maintain in this climate like a hole in the head, and double the worry with no tradesmen. I am losing my handyman of 4 years in 6 weeks time - then I am totally on my own, with nobody else to do odd jobs and general maintenance for me

Magnificent piece of work. I would be so sorely tempted to move there RB but, as you say, one move is enough. Am sure you will not wait long for buyers as it is a really lovely house with wonderful extras.

Seriously, though. RB! Consider the space and am sure the dogs wont even know the difference!! After all what is a move across the island compared to what you have done before! Of course, this is my love for the beautiful Aga speaking!

While we're in the midst of all this ooooing and ahhhhhing about East Thrave Cottage, I've been thinking about how much I would LOVE to see lots of pictures of your current cottage, Rosaboobie!! I don't think we've ever seen anything since you got the conservatory added on or the inside after you finally got all your stuff out of storage! I know your cottage has a name too, but I don't remember what it is.

Val, I have my own gorgeous Aga at my own cottage, Whistlebrae, and mine is a lovely bottle green. I will take a photo tomorrow to show you.
Oh, you will have to wait a while for photos, Drac - I have been waiting for someone to redecorate the whole house since I moved in almost 4 years ago. I have now bought all the paint, and it looks as though I might just have to do it all myself, which I am not looking forward to, as I am not that much good at painting and decorating!
