We were visiting friends in Dunfermline and they took us to see Edinburgh. The only parking spot we could find was at the base of a looong flight of stairs leading to the courtyard of the Castle. After climbing for ages and ages, we finally arrived at the courtyard only to find a big sign "Castle closed today". Aaargh! Nice city though and good shopping.

It's an old generator shed, LadyK - I did keep my logs in it but they are soaking now ha ha!

While I was out there, I took a photo of my dry stone walling to show you. I still dont know how these walls keep intact with our gales. In fact there is a 20 feet shipping container sitting outside a property opposite me, and Gertrude managed to shift it onto the track recently.

I LOVE those dry stone walls... I just imagine the work to build them. I've done a couple of them about 2 feet tall as retaining walls and picking out which stone to use is the hardest part!
