A New Drink?

I may have invented a new beverage quite inadvertently. Of course, you may all have tried this one at some time or another too. What you do is put a spoon of instant coffee in a cup, then you absentmindedly add a teabag, pour over boiling water and drink. Then, spit out and pour down the sink. I'm calling it teafee.

I have one better. A nice cup of coffee with orange juice instead of milk. It's called coffrange, and it, too, is best down the drain.

Absentmindedness has a lot to answer for! I can only think we have higher more complex things on our minds and cannot have our trains of thought interrupted by mundane details of life. We shall learn to like teafee and coffrange.

I recall one day at work, I was pouring a cup of coffee in the break room, and as I got the last of the pot, I decided to make a new pot. I dutifully poured the water into the coffee maker and then took the packet of ground coffee and proceeded to pour it into my nicely poured cup of coffee. There were about 6 staff members who watched and said not a word as I committed the wrongful act. I looked down and cried "What am I doing?!!!" and they all had a good laugh as did I albeit redfaced and bleary eyed!
