Sorry Folks, I Failed

Post by StarLite »

Good day fellow tenants, I'm sorry to say that I failed to make that 9:45am appointment for my EKG. I was sick all weekend with some kind of flu. They say that if you are ill that the T-waves come back low, so maybe it's just as well. My doctor is away till May 25th so I have an appointment on the 27th. At least I got my foot X-ray so now he can start treating that lump.

I have to get a mammo on June 6th so I'll go to the other lab and get the EKG. I should have known better, I'm not good with mornings, I thought I could do it and maybe if I didn't have that flu I might have done it. But to be on the safe side I'll get it done in the afternoon. Or maybe I'll just go after I see the doctor on the 27th.

And if that isn't the best of it. Saturday I was sitting here surfing when I see this movement beside me, I look and it's one of those big black spiders crawling on the love seat. So I go get the pill bottle to scoop it up and put it outside when I banged my head on the curio cabinet hanging on the wall. I was lucky I didn't knock myself out, I had to sit on the stairs it hurt so much and tears starting rolling down my face. I had a small cut and a lump, which I hope goes away

Poor hubby, he no sooner had it out of his mouth, ("watch out") when it was done. Funny thing, my biggest concern was catching that spider alive rather than having a concussion. I wonder if that caused me to be sick. It's a good thing I never get headaches, even after banging my head I never got a headache, hubby says I don't get them because there's nothing in there and I think he's right.

We have a beautiful sunny day today and yesterday we managed to get the rose garden cleaned up. It looks really nice now but the squirrels have taken to digging in the soil. I might have lost my Blue Girl, but the Delaney Sisters are just flying and it looks like I might get my Dublin Bay Rose back this year too. I hope the grubs stay away from my button rose this year. We didn't get one flower from it last year

Well folks I'm off, I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. Take care :flower:

I hope your head is okay! I always try to save the spiders, too. Some of them can be pretty insistent on going places and/or building webs in dangerous spots!

Thank you for asking Jude. My head is much better. I was so lucky I didn't do some major damage, I really cracked it a beauty, and the odd thing was I never got a headache. There was a small cut on head, but it's alright now. As the olde saying goes, "no good deed", it almost makes you want to stop doing them but I like to take care of the little creatures :flower:
