Well my friend Jo and I have just about finished the "deep cleaning" of my cottage and boy did it need it - every single inch has been cleaned and scrubbed. And now Jo, with great delight, I hand over the cleaning of my cottage to you.
I really wish that I had found a cleaner from Day One on Sanday - It is such a relief to get up every single morning, not having to "waste" one's precious hours with such mundane chores, but just to see everywhere clean and tidy. Now I can do what I want to do, when I want to do it. And I do find that, now I have a cleaner, I am now a tidier person lol. And I now get on with the other "chores" which need doing by me, such as gardening, paperwork etc.
And the added bonus is that my 2 doggies love her, especially Benji who follows her around like a shadow, and she will come and clean on the days I am in town for 12 hours at a time, and let them out for me - as well as she clips their claws on a regular basis - Am I lucky or what?

Lucky gal, send Jo over here. It's good that you have someone to stay with the dogs while you are away. It keeps them out of mischief.

Well, StarLite, it means they dont have to cross their paws while I am away in town on a long trip to town lol.
Yes, I AM lucky - she is also a friend and good neighbour of mine who has rather fallen on hard times here - this island can be a harsh place to live when you still have a mortgage to pay as there is not much opportunity for work here.

I like it, especially since I just left the bookshelves I'm trying to dust and reorganize and instead made myself and ice cream sundae with nuts and chocolate syrup. 
I’m more confused than a chameleon in a bagful of Skittles.
