I just walked in the door from Longmeadow and cracked an ice cold beer before my butt even hit the chair. So I nearly spewed beer out my nose when I saw you Smart Car picture, Val! That is nothing short of hysterical!!!!
JK, it sound like you have your hands full right now too.

Re: What Is On Your Agenda Today
Today I had plans for gardening and cleaning, but have woken up feeling a bit bler... so looking up possible things to do in London and drinking tea instead!

Hi Rosy!
In addition to Mom, I took care of my older brother after he had to have a triple bypass a couple of months ago. He lives alone, and I couldn't see his grown kids...who all work and one has a family of her own...trying to adjust their schedules to take care of him. He spent a month here and is now on his own, doing quite well. His daughter (my niece) has been a huge answer to prayer in that she had been on the steroid Mom is on for an autoimmune condition of her own. Her assurances to Mom that things will get better have been huge.
So...family has visited and called regarding Mom. My sister-in-law, Sandy (you guys remember her from this forum?) sent me a lovely surprise on Valentine's Day (in reference to my "having a huge heart") and my niece sent me a lovely thank you for taking such good care of her Dad. Those two gestures meant so much!

Glad that pic gave you the giggles Drac! You needed it after that long hard day on the field.
Skeeter hope the day n London made you feel totally alive and the tea helped clear up the bler!

Just finished breakfast and am looking around wondering where to start! So much to do in the spring outside. Guess I'll just pick a perennial bed and start cleaning it out!

Love your fart car Val, got a chuckle over that one too. Today I have the treadmill and then I'm taking it easy. I did too much on Thursday and now I'm paying for it, my whole body is aching all over. Thursday I vacuumed up and downstairs, cleaned the rooms up and changed the beds but the worst of it which did my back in was brushing off the comforter.
Yesterday I trimmed up my roses and some of them look promising. I do hope the grubs don't take down my button rose this year. Looks like the Delaney is coming back going on it's 14th year, pretty good since their lifespan is only 5 years.
We're having ribs for dinner tonight so at noon I'll start marinating them. But today it's a day of gaming, either playing or working on mine. Oh, yesterday hubby bought one of those K-cup machines and it works great. I had a French Vanillia Latte which was a little too sweet so I'll have to adjust the foam powder. Hubby is going to get a blank cup so we can make our own coffee. Sometimes he feels like a coffee when I don't so it will come in handy for that and I like those specialty coffees.
We have a beautiful sunny day today, I just hope it will be quiet. So I'm off to make the rounds and I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend
