Well, I finished with the wrapping and sending Christmas presents yesterday. I'm being SUCH a good grandma this year. I have four little 5 and 6 year-old grand-daughters and they each got a stuffed plush crocodile along with a video of the #1 song in Germany when I was there in 2005... Schnappi. I made several sets of parents insane with the Schnappi CD back then and I think the new generation of little ones should also provide the same insanity to their parents again. The refrain of “Ich bin Schnappi, das kleine krokodil” will soon be ringing through their homes. And to be a REALLY good grandma, in addition to the Schnappi music video, I also provided an audio CD so they can also enjoy it nonstop in the car.

I believe my son told my granddaughter who is 12 now, that the CD was stuck in the CD player in their vehicle and they could never get it out again.

Epic Squirrel Run! This made me feel like I was Lara Croft in one of the Tomb Raider games...

I remember seeing a tv special about how they built that obstacle course and how quickly the squirrels learned to use it. They're very resourceful when it comes to filling their tummies.

They are obviously very clever and you could tell this squirrel had navigated the course many times. I'd love to have seen that TV special!

I could see that one coming. With our two dogs, it's the little one who usually gets more than her share. She often sneaks in under Zork to get a little more of whatever's going, and the funny thing is, he lets her do it.
