BARROW HILL Review by Mark Hasley
I just played Barrow Hill, and I agree with the reviewer. I think this is a wonderfully creepy game. I think the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever experienced in an adventure game. The sounds and music set the tone, and always put me on the edge of my seat.
The game installed and played like a dream on my XP (with an onboard graphics chipset). I didn't have a single technical glitch while playing it.
The only problem I had was reading all the tiny print in the many letters, documents, pamphlets, etc. that you encounter during the game. My eyesight isn't great, and my monitor is small. Also, I boosted my gamma settings a lot because the whole game takes place at night, often in the dark.
I didn't realize there was another ending to the game. I must go back to the game now, and find it!
