Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

The reason I learned so many tips and tricks is that I hung out for a long time at the single-player forums at diabloii.net (when they existed) and everyone shared what they learned about the game.

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

I use /players 8 nearly always (I activate it as soon as I start/restart the game). It's really important to remember to type the slash (the earlier versions of the game didn't need the slash to activate the players 8 code) because it lets you gain experience much faster (and also makes the enemies ...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

;) "only 750 pieces" ... My preferred piece counts are from 300-600 pieces, although I also enjoy building smaller and larger piece counts sometimes. I am limited by my available table's dimensions, though. The largest piece count I've built so far is 1500 pieces. I really like the old Whi...

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

Wow, you move fast! Did you already complete the Nightmare difficulty level? Your Assassin seems at too a low level to have done that already... Are you using /players 8 to play now (to make things harder and get experience faster -- it simulates what 8 players would face (hit the enter/return key, ...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

Oh, that's a cool puzzle (the one with your house in it)! And I can understand the appeal of a bookstore crowded with old books. :) I tend to like undersea images, and dinosaurs, and cool-looking buildings for my puzzle choices, but sometimes I am pleasantly surprised by puzzles with images I didn't...

Re: Back from holiday

Wow, cool pics! That is a huge boat/ship. Could you tell you were on the water (in other words, did it sway in the waves)? It seems the people in Iceland are making good use of the volcanic heat.

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

I have the Peter's Jigsaw app, too. :) I used to do "digital" puzzles a lot more before I started building the cardboard ones again, but I still do one occasionally (but often forget to post pics of them). Like your sister, I sometimes also put the edge pieces in a separate smaller bag (wh...

Jigsaw puzzles

I'm not sure if this is an acceptable topic for these forums, but does anyone build jigsaw puzzles? I have a couple of digital apps (and a few more that no longer work on my current OS), and sometimes I will do an online one, but... A couple of years ago, I was half-heartedly opening some boxes of t...

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

Also, Mac users, please note: CAUTION!: The newest version of Diablo II (and LOD) doesn't seem to work on the later versions of Mac OS X at this time. 1.14B still works (with a few minor glitches, but 1.14d won't load the game. :( If you have an older version of the game (and patches), back it up a...

Re: What adventure game are you playing?

So where did the 26 character Key Code show up if not in the Games & Subscriptions section? I found, in my personal records I backed up, the 26 character Key Code for Starcraft, and my notes say that I registered it at the same time I registered Diablo II and Warcraft III and their expansions, b...
