Spiderweb RPGs CD problems and possible workarounds
I don't know about Windows versions of the games, but the Mac versions of several of the Spiderweb games are having problems opening the installers on the CDs on Intel Macs (I think OS X 10.6.x may be the culprit). This is only a problem if you bought the CD versions of the games. Jeff Vogel posted ...

Re: Couple of interesting articles about old RPGs
I used to love to bowl before I wracked up my knee. Have you tried the game, Rocket Bowl?

Re: Fable the Lost Chapters
Hmm, I got this game recently but haven't played it yet. Do you have the Mac or WIndows version?

Re: Power Mac (PPC) support being dropped by RPG game compan
Bioshock is one of the new games I bought after I got my Intel iMac in June. I haven't been feeling well enough to play for hours at a time lately (even for Diablo II), but I am really looking forward to it along with Rome: Total War, Star Wars the Ultimate Sith Edition, Fable: The Lost Chapters, an...

Re: Power Mac (PPC) support being dropped by RPG game compan
Oh, I'm sure Diablo III is going to have high requirements. That's why I said that I would need to get a new Mac for it. (...before my partner talked me into this iMac so I could watch the World Cup on the internet--my old Mac couldn't upgrade Flash Player enough to watch). I'm just worried that the...

Power Mac (PPC) support being dropped by RPG game companies
I just heard that Basilisk Games, the maker of the Eschalon Book I and Book II games, is dropping Power Mac support. That means that all new versions and expansions to their games will require an Intel-based Mac. If you have older versions of the games, they will still work on your Power Mac as long...

I haven't bought it yet, but I liked the first one.
@ Kickaha, if you email the designer with your list of "bugs" he will read it. He listens to feedback and changes things if he can. Also, you may want to /check out/post on the forum there to see if other people had the same problems.

Re: Imbueing in Diablo II
You get one imbue after completing the quest and returning to Charsi, for EACH level of game difficulty (Normal, Nightmare, and Hell). Sometimes it takes some time to find a decent NON-MAGICAL, NON-SOCKETED, NON-JEWELRY item to imbue, especially since after Act II, all items in the stores won't qual...

Re: Eschalon Book 2 release date
Me, too. Did it say if there was a choice of a female protagonist, this time?

Re: BloodRayne
I've had the game since it came out for the Mac. I had thought that I would really like it: female protagonist, vampire, based on a comic book, but like Hawkavonpuka, I had trouble controlling her. Maybe my reflexes aren't good enough. I shelved the game and never tried it again.

Re: Diablo II 1.13 Patch
Well, I've backed up my saved games folder and labeled it as the last 1.12 save, and I'm about to install the 1.13c patch. Going to start a Leap Attack Barbarian, I think. It's nice that at least that bug (Leap/Leap attack stopping working until a game start) was fixed. I still think that the points...

Diablo II 1.13 Patch
Anyone try out the new patch, yet? I'd be very interested in hearing any comments. http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=23766804014&postId=237646775318&sid=3000#0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I've been waiting to see if there are any problems with the Mac ...

Re: Guess what, Jude?
Yeah, Frost Nova is a lot of fun! But it doesn't do enough damage at later levels. But you can still use it then to slow everyone down while you hit them with other spells and weapons. If you are worried about running into something that is immune to your skills, put a regular (preferably long-range...
